If you don’t want to lose your important files, it is best to back them up. With a tool like Backup Dwarf you can very easily create a backup job; based on the parameters of the job, Backup Dwarf will back up the files you select, to the location you indicate, based on the schedule you put in place. Should a data loss accident occur, Backup Dwarf can be used to restore data from a backup.

The following Windows editions are supported by Backup Dwarf: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7. 32 as well as 64-bit Windows editions are supported. A simple wizard will help you install Backup Dwarf on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions.

There are two view modes for Backup Dwarf’s interface: Classic View and Wizard View. Both are quite easy to use – but the Wizard View is a bit more appealing and a bit easier to use than Classic View. The nice thing is that with a simple mouse click you can easily and quickly switch from one view mode to another.

Several parameters must be specified when you create a new backup job: what data will be backed up; what type of backup will be performed (choose between full and incremental backup); where the backup will be saved; when the data will be saved (you can set up a schedule); and more. The simple truth of the matter is that it is not difficult at all to create a backup job. Once the job is created, you can run it, edit it, or use it to restore data.

Backup Dwarf is available as a Home Edition (free for home use) and as a Professional Edition (free to use for 60 days).

Backup Dwarf makes it very easy to create backup jobs. Run these jobs manually or automatically to back up important data. Use the backup to restore lost data.

Pros

Backup Dwarf will work with pretty much any Windows edition; the installation process is very simple. Two view modes for the interface: Classic and Wizard View. Easily create and edit backup jobs. Use backups to restore data. Backup Dwarf is available as a Home and as a Professional edition.

Cons

None that I could think of.
